Company Profile Images

Company Profile images are configured from Media Assets:

  • choose Company hero background when the image should become the public hero background;
  • choose Company gallery image when the image should appear in the public Company gallery.

When a company-owned image is created with one of those types, Actualog automatically publishes it to the matching public Company Profile placement. Existing media assets can also be published from Edit media asset by turning on Show on company profile and choosing the matching profile asset type.

Set the hero background image

Use Company hero background for one strong panoramic image: a plant, product family, service scene, technology visual, or brand image.

  1. Select the company workspace.
  2. Open Media Assets or /assets/create?companyId={companyId}.
  3. Set Kind to Image.
  4. Set Type to Company hero background.
  5. Upload or generate a wide banner image. A 3:1 crop, such as 1920 x 640, works best for the header strip.
  6. Save the media asset.
  7. Open /companies/company/{companyUniqueName} and check that the header uses the new image. There is no separate confirmation button.

If no Company hero background placement is configured, Actualog falls back to the legacy company wide image, then the first available linked community background image. If no background exists, the profile uses the branded gradient fallback.

The Company gallery shows image assets that are explicitly linked to the company profile and marked public. The public Assets tab can also show non-image profile assets such as certificates, brochures, manuals, and capability documents.

  1. Select the company workspace.
  2. Open Media Assets or /assets/create?companyId={companyId}.
  3. Set Kind to Image.
  4. Set Type to Company gallery image.
  5. Upload or generate the image.
  6. Save the media asset.
  7. Reopen the Company Profile.

The gallery does not automatically show product images, catalog covers, ordinary document files, the square company logo, or the hero background. Use Company gallery image or link each existing image intentionally when it should appear in the public profile gallery.

Why an image is not visible

Check these points:

  • the asset belongs to the same company;
  • the asset is an image with a generated preview;
  • the asset type is Company hero background or Company gallery image, or the asset is manually assigned to a company profile placement;
  • the placement is public;
  • the image is not only assigned as the square logo;
  • the public Company Profile was refreshed after saving.
